In fact, loss is suffered more than we might realize since it carries many labels. Depending on what holds meaning in your life, some not-so-obvious losses might include:

To express grief is a part of life. However, our culture is uncomfortable witnessing this strong emotion. Not wanting to call attention to our problems or seem vulnerable, we hold hurt inside. Ignored or denied grief doesn’t go away. It affects us with symptoms that could include:
